PFLAG Austin Texas - LGBTQ Support Group

This is a free, confidential ** in person ** endorse group for Queer identified persons, as well as family, friends, and allies of LGBTQ+ people.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

We accumulate at 6:45 pm. We start at 7:00 pm and end at 9:00 pm.

Attendees participate in a sharing circle where people speak issues, ask questions, offer personal experiences, suggest advice and solutions, etc. Attendees have different journeys and experiences, which makes for a large fount of useful and beneficial information, tips, and advice. You may participate in the discussion, or just observe: whatever you feel comfortable doing.

Every meeting is unlike and you will probably find the discussion interesting. You will feel a sense of creature connected to others as they divide and discuss issues. The discussion is moderated by a facilitator to guarantee fairness and to meet the needs of all the attendees. Topics vary by month and by meeting depending upon the needs of those who attend. New attendees almost universally experience very glad that they attended our support groups.

NOTE: even though many of our support collective meetings are held in churches, PFLAG Austin is agnostic
