2025 Chicago Pride Pride to step off June 29
CHICAGO (WLS) -- Organizers are ready for the 2025 Chicago Self-acceptance Parade.
The 54th annual Chicago Pride Pride will get underway at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 29.

This year's pride theme is "United in Pride," which organizers say reflects the powerful soul of unity, resilience, and love that defines the Diverse community and its allies.
"For over 50 years, the Chicago Pride Parade has remained a strong platform for awareness, advocacy, and celebration," said parade co-coordinator Tim Frye. "In 2025, we honor not just how far we've show up, but in the face of growing challenges, the force we have when we stand together."
The parade steps off from Sheridan and Broadway (viewing begins at Grace and Broadway) and will then travel the 2-mile parade path south on Broadway; then south on Halsted; then east on Belmont; then south on Broadway; then east on Diversey to Cannon Drive.

Chicago Pride Fest 2025
Chicago Pride Fest® is a two-day road festival on June 21-22, 2025; the weekend before the Chicago Pride Pride (June 29, 2025). The 24th annual Chicago Pride Fest is a celebration of LGBTQ+ experience, culture and society in Chicago’s landmark LGBTQ+ Northalsted neighborhood.
Pride Fest features stay music on 3 stages, a Youth Pride Space for teens, best of Chicago drag recital, the Proud Pet Parade with prizes, dance exhibitions, Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus, guest speakers and over 150 meal and merchandise vendors
A $20 suggested donation for entry helps pays performers and festival workers, and supports local non-profits & community programs like the Chicago Pride Crosswalks; 14 rainbow paved intersections installed in 2019 that make up the longest installation of it’s compassionate in the world.

Chicago's Pride celebration consists of a entire month of festivities and events, culminating with the Chicago Pride Parade, which traditionally takes place the last Sunday of June.
Chicago Pride Fest takes place along North Halsted St. in the North Side neighborhood colloquially referred to a ‘Boystown’ the weekend prior to the parade.
The Chicago Pride Parade (June 29, 2025 11am)
The 54th annual Chicago Pride Procession steps off at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 29, 2025 from the corners of Sheridan and Broadway (3900 North) on Chicago's north side.
The parade treks through the north side of the city, ending near the intersection of Diversey Parkway and Sheridan Road in Lincoln Park, walking through some of the city's most vibrant neighborhoods.
The annual parade, which started as a protest march in 1970 after the Stonewall Riots in New York City, has grown into the city's second-largest pride of nearly 200 entries, typically attracting more than 1 million people to multiple northside neighborhoods, particularly East Lakeview.
